So, um, yeah, I finally went on a vacation recently and I finally got to fish for the first time in months. I know, what kind of fisherman only fishes once every couple of months, maybe one that doesnt have time to do so every day, or every week at that, one day though, one day I will have the chance to fish my ass off, until then you must be forced to my once a every couple of months updates on this blog.
So I was down at my uncles house in the Florida Keys with a couple of his friends, and we were on our way out about 20+ miles to go after some Mahi Mahi. I was hoping to catch a wahoo since I have never hooked up with one before, but instead we got plenty of dolphin, and I have been eating dolphin for dinner every single night for the past week, and I still have about 5 bags left, which should last me another week or two.
Anyways I was able to hook up with a couple of the dolphin that we brought aboard, and let me tell you, not one of the dolphin we landed was under 20 pounds. At the end of the day I was called a fish hog, just because I had caught 2 of the 5, but everyone played a part and had fun, although there was way more yelling and screaming that was going on then there should have been. I guess that is just part of the game though.
I got a chance to get my camera out, and it happens to take pretty decent videos, and I go the end of one of the fights, pretty cool shit to watch.
